Does anyone have any pics of Bristol Memorials/Staues relating to the boer war ?

Funny you should ask! I've lived in Bristol all my life and only a few weeks ago actually got round to taking pics of the Gloucestershire memorial in Clifton. Just to add, this is the only Boer War memorial I am aware of in Bristol. If you know of theres, I can take a trip out and get a few pics. Here's a long shot the of the overall memorial. I've also got close ups of the names. All images are BIG (about 700kb-1.1mb). The image below is a fraction of the size. Let me know what you're after and I'll e-mail them on to you.  |

Tut tut... call yourself a Bristol boy?  The memorial is yards up the road from the museum. The building you see in the picture is on the Park St end of Whiteladies Road. To the left of it is the Victoria Rooms. X marks the spot. 1=museum, 2=Bristol Uni (Wills' Building)  |
