The eagerly awaited autobiography of Johnson Beharry VC, entitled "Barefoot Soldier", is due to be launched on 2nd October.

In memory of Private Henry George BLATCHFORD, 40730, 6th Btn KOYLI. KIA 22/8/1917 age 40. Born in Somerset, lived in Bristol, Died in Belgium.

Also in memory of Stoker 1 Class, Alfred George COOLE, 148601 RN served 1889-1911 & 1914-1915. Died at home 28th August 1915.

Private Walter COOLE, 5203, 1/6th Btn Gloucestershire Reg. Died of disease 10th January 1917 on the Somme. Nephew of Alfred.
